Creating inspirational and memorable events, the executives need to strategize, design and plan delivery of smooth and professional events from the essentials of preparation to the realities of delivery and troubleshooting under pressure.  Both media and non-media events, require innovative thinking, comprehensive planning, specific management techniques and core analytical concepts to execute smoothly and achieve positive publicity.

 Choose the most appropriate format, venue and identity for an event

I have seen the most plain format winning a bid to host some of the most wanted and prestigious events. Okay here is the trick, better your listening skills, have an eye for detail, listen between the lines. Sometimes choosing the right format only requires the event executive to mirror the event owner. Highlight something in the event that represents not the event but the owner. There is no cheaper price to buy someone's loyalty than to praise them, Simply praise them and surprise them unexpected tokens. Try this twice a month with two booker's and you have your full year supply of events to host.

Design an engaging programme of content for your event

Did you know that in some of this events they even lack material to share amongst each other apart from the ready manufactured power point presentations coming in form of reports? Most of this reports are tailored by accountants or finance teams. I think getting humour off an accountant is as futile as keeping a castrated bull for breeding.The delegates attending your event are probably existing parliamentarians/politicians so sleeping in between is characteristic. You have to be clear if its and event or extension of the bedroom, You may have the best event facility with the worst experience. Monotonous is unbearable.

Event design

You fail to exploit your creativity, you fail to host the event. Am happy that in this era even women believe that "less is more". Back in the days when I was upcoming, women always thought that the more makeup they have on and the more accessories they have on is compliment to being more beautiful. The strength of time has changed that, now your free to design something simple and eye-catching with confidence that it will be appreciated by both men and women alike. I insist though that you be creative from the menu designs, folding of the napkins, colours of the furniture covers blah blah blah,

Should there be failure here then its not from your side. I trust am not the only one going through company websites and google only to find fifty hues of the logo. The event booker will always think they have the right to frown if the logo does not match their expectation, For social events you may get even crazier request of having portrait of people on the signage screen. You better treat each event with utmost glitz as required y the booker or the attendees. If they detect any attention deficit, you definitely be out of the consideration list for their next event. 

Preparing and working with a running schedule

Is this the point to forget about quality assurance? Generally the competition here in Dubai gives no room for this kind of fluctuation or if you like to call it inconsistency. No one exactly gives a damn that some of what they need is external and beyond your control, sometimes even beyond your influence or knowledge. In this case, given that you have a broader cultural horizon, take advantage by having manpower that would understand the attendees more. Yes. get someone who understand the same language with the booker or your contact person, they would feel more comfortable and this means less headache for you, the event in charge,

Sending invitations

Ever heard of an email blast? why do I still think invitation works this way? However formal it maybe, you will still find a delegate or two who are still adopting into civilization. In simple terms the conclusive and organic invitation via mail or telephone is far insufficient for them. And for their sake you have to victimize the environment by printing a-few invitations, or maybe print for all if you don't want to see how ugly men and women are when they sulk like small children over something as petty as printed invitation. Ooops this is also your job in-case I did not mention.

Making it shine on the day event.

You think you will need to hire a model to do the smiling? Go for it. Infact get an exaggeratedly pretty one for that matter since she has to pay her own hire fee through the tips without interfering with normal service staff tips. This is at the disposal of smart events executives. Don't attempt if you unless you know your wit perimeter.

Speaker management

You need this person prior to the event, during the event and after the event. The common prayer is that this person should not be one of those insane characters or the moody type. But you could control his mood, keep the remote control with you.

Last-minute checks

Parking is hustle free, Wifi speed is essential as paparazzi is a must, encourage attendees to take selfies, assist them with taking photos. Ensure your wi-fi is not embarrassing after all because half of this people are social media hungry. Any photogenic capture of them ends up in facebook, Instagram, snapchat and so on, just a little effort to tag the location is just enough marketing.

Managing the online space

By encompassing 360-degree approach to event management, precise and size friendly advertisements is key.
